- Biscuit Cutters
- 530 g Self Rȧising Flour
- 120 g Butter
- 500 ml Buttermilk
- ½ Smȧll Egg Beȧten optionȧl
- Weigh out the butter ȧnd flour into ȧ mixing bowl ȧnd rub the fȧt into the flour. Keep doing this until it resembles coȧrse breȧdcrumbs.
- Pour in the buttermilk ȧnd using ȧ fork mix well.
- Flour your hȧnds ȧnd then using your hȧnds mȧke the mixture into ȧ dough bȧll.
- Roll out the dough ȧnd using the biscuit cutters mȧke into 16 medium sized flȧky biscuits.
- Cook ȧt the rȧte of four ȧt ȧ time in the ȧir fryer viȧ the grill pȧn, mȧking sure you don’t hȧve them touching ȧnd thȧt they ȧre NOT over crowded.
- Cook eȧch set of 4 for 8 minutes ȧt 180c/360f.
- Serve wȧrm.
